KCSAE is committed to creating an association management community for its members that advances their careers through education, professional development and networking.
Vision
KCSAE will be the primary resource for education, professional development and sharing of best practices within the greater Kansas City association management community.
These Strategic Goals were carefully constructed through a board directed process. The outcome includes a brief list of goals, metrics, and tactics to meet KCSAE Strategic Priorities. While not specifically enumerated, ASAE’s Foresight categories were integrated throughout these goals. The KCSAE Board of Directors will utilize this document during all regular business operations and organizational planning.
Strategic Goals and Metrics (FY 22-23 Goals):
Attract New Members
- Increase number of associations represented and total attendees at KCSAE events
- Focus on recruitment of non-member Kansas City association professionals
- Enrich partnerships with local groups through joint events, collaboration, and networking
Increase Member Engagement
- Enhance professional development and networking opportunities for all career levels through KCSAE programming, specifically targeting mid-career professionals
- Increase engagement with emerging association professionals (EPs)
- Maximize retention rate
- Increase value for allied members
Focus on Organizational Health
- Establish metrics and evaluation process for Special Interest Groups
- Investigate and develop non-dues revenue opportunities
- Increase collaboration and communication between committees
- Enhance commitment to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
- Better understand member roles and interests
